What trannies work with k24a1? Is it any k series tranny? Also what ecu

To put any K series into the older chassis you will have to find either an RSX 5 speed or 6 speed, EP3 trans 5 speed or a 6 speed out of the 06- new Civic SI, But yes they will bolt right up the k series is like the the D, all the blocks and heads and trans all can work together.


As far as an ecu best to just get a k-pro but I think you will need either the RSX or any civic SI ecu to work properly in your cars.

So is k-pro stand alone or piggy back?

It is hondata it is a stand alone for the factory ecu.
