need help with license plate light

- Mon Mar 24, 2014 2:13 am #343661 Hi guys my hatch is rusted around the plate area and the lights arent there i just noticed today since it was 4 degrees out is there any kind of modification i can do to get some light back there maybe an led strip or something i drive this thing alot at night havnt been pulled over yet any recommendations?

- Mon Mar 24, 2014 2:55 am #343664 The rust is so bad that there's just a huge rust hole where the lights belong so there's no way they can be screwed in? If that's the case then a little led strip will do. Just make sure it's 12v. I'm sure they're cheap on eBay. I've seen universal license plate light brackets on eBay too as well as universal plate frames with built in led lights.
