#110320 so a couple months ago i bought the gsr rear disk conversion. i was in such a hurry to put it on i didn't notice the bushings were out :x well a couple months later they both give out on me and im riding lower than a damn lowrider lol! i was wondering if there are any special tools or an easy way to just take off the rear trailiing arm without taking out the whole brake assembly or if i can even change it on the car? i talked to my mechanic and he wants to charge me around 2-300 and i spoke to some other mexichanic and he said $150. lol i put them on basically by myself and am somewhat mechanically inclined. is there a tutorial with pix out there? o and i bought the solid black bushings from energy i think? are those easy to put back in? thanks for your help! :lol: :woot:

#110357 with a torch you should have some fun burning them out that would be your best bet.....save the outer ring dont cut it out the hardest part with the whole energy suspension bushing is the fact that you have to scrape away all the rubber from trailing arm bushing besides that just keep the energy suspension bushing in a nice cool place and then pop it into the metal ring thats in the trailing arm....just make sure you figure out a way to make sure the offset of the attatchment middle peice is kept

Its a pretty simple thing however you most likely will have to take the trailing arm down its alot easier that way.

#110358 It is going to be a b*tch to do this while the arm is on the car so the best way is to take them off the car... Cut out the old bushing and clean up the hole...lube up the new bushings and they should go right in... You'll have to use the steel part from your old bushing and push it in your new bushing, so clean that up as well...Install everything and you're done!!!

Repeat on the other side... :thumb:

#110362 lol so basically burning it clean would be my best bet? how would i keep the offset? and will a rear trailing arm off my old drums fit the gsr conversion? or am i stuck with them? :?

You can also cut them out and clean up the hole with a wirebrush fitted to a drill...
