not all strut bars are created equal. That is one item that you really get what you paid for.Strut bar with a pivot point and those that flex are for cosmetics only and offer minimum if at all chassis strenghtenning.

#23928 Wow lots of great info, took me a few minutes to read and process all of it.

Heres one for ya guys...so I got my camber set the other day at a shop after installing a sliding ball joint type camber kit to the front. Car is lowered on Tein springs with normal shocks...now the car hits a bump and goes where ever it wants and it feels like the power steering is heavy at speed...nothings leaking and all fluids are topped off..why is this happening? Do I need to go back and bitch at the mechanics? I feel like somethings really wrong and I dunno if im imagining tire wear too but I swear its acting way different.

#24057 sounds like your alignment is way off somehow. i havent had experience with camber kits. best take the car to an alignment shop.

the biggest differences i felt were when i got the front strut bar, follwed by the rear and inner fender braces. my hatch felt a lot more direct after installing all of them. the rear one made the biggest difference; before the bar it felt like it was going all over the place in corners. now my hatch feels like its on rails! im still looking for lower tie bars though

I had front and rear upper and a rear lower and didnt feel a thing. Put on new rims and tires with my coilovers and felt a world of difference. Strut bars dont really help out alot at all.

almost sounds like your shocks are gone. If i am reading it correctly it says you have stock shocks.

#24270 Yes, alas im am poor! I took it to the alignment shop and he rechecked everything and told me the back right wheel is gonna be off camber until I fix the worn boot on the control arm :( Then he pointed out that I have direction tires and that it might make the car feel like it was tracking in a dif direction from time to time, namely bumps and expansion joints. I dont remember having that problem on my accord which was lower and had all after market suspension. Should I spend the dime and do a coil over kit too? Sorry that was long.

I thought the same thing, but now that ive sold my strut braces i notice a difference to when they were on the car :(

I only had front and rear upper ones so will be investing in new ones when i can!
