BLACKS' COUPE wrote:no offense, but i already own an IS 300 (lexus) that i have on some nice decent rims.. i am only working on my civic because people talk smack on honda's in general and dont think i can make my car look and run better than bmw's and mercedes. yeah they might be fast and all but we with honda's are usually better drivers. of course youngsters are the ones that bring us (honda's) the bad rep that we have...
the reason i am asking on this set-up is becuase i have teins on my lexus and i lov it.. but i think that $1500 is alot for suspension, but then again you pay for what you get.. :? :? :?
thats why i am asking for your help..

lol you said the girls that don't mind it. I would probably tell you TEIN is the softest of the bunch. My Family car is a Stock IS300 as well and I prefer to leave the luxury car fairly stock. Comfy suspension + big rims = luxury car not a honda. I'm at the point where the honda isnt even drivable to the mall/movies anymore without any fear so I am leaning towards going BMW now..

If you want a more comfortable suspension, TEIN is definitely one of the softer of the bunch. Tein SS start at $800 and Flex start at $1400. You can even go with TEIN S tech springs which start at $150.

#58912 true, but it's like i've always said it, this is of course with the best intentions. "if i want it i'm gonna get it" it will hurt if i get punked but i can always afford another honda. now if you ask me about the lexus, i have the latest technology when it comes to alarm systems so that won't happen because you have to be stable to afford a lexus.. lol

i would pay again for the tiens but i heard that i can get just as good shock/coilover combo for less than the tiens.. any input on this?

thanks in advance for all your inputs.. :woot: :woot:

--for the youngster comment, not all are bad drivers but they can't control there emotions when it comes to someone pulling up by them just as young and wanting to race them. thats what i see all the time since i'm only 22 yrs. old myself..
:D

#58918 It is the civic I cannot drive to the mall/movies cause it is a honda period. No matter how good your system is, it still probelmatic and there is still that fear.

But anyways, koni/gc would be a good combo but I think its pretty rough ride compared to teins.
