The one I bought was an "External" sping compresser. Just make sure you have 2 shafts and not 1 and you will be good.

i called up auto zone, 40 dollar deposit, i just told em import and they was like aiight


but i now should wait for my strut tower bar to arrive before i attempt to swap

#41008 nah, the strut tower bar you can put on any time with the car on the ground all together. Jusp pop your hood and it's only 4 bolts (usually, depending on the bar)

For Reference use:
the External Spring compressor has 2 shafts that are on the outside of the coil-over. - - Picture.

An Internal Spring compressor has 1 shaft and goes inside the coilover. Since you have a strut in that place already this will not work - Picture.

When you pick up your spring compressor, Make sure it has the 2 shafts of the External and they don't give you an Internal instead.
