well i tend to think that no power steering is less jittery and a more direct and precise feel. ie you get more feed back from the tires/road. i prefer not to have it my self.

I have power steering and i have 0 steering wheel play, and immediate response from the tires as well

Remember when Civics were cool ? Yea me neither

- Sun Feb 10, 2008 6:43 pm #41702 oh i didn't say any thing about wheel play. i was just refering to the input level you get back from a car without power steering, if you have ever street raced ie road not drag, a car with power steering and then went to a car without power steering there is a noticable difference in feel and response just feels more dirrect. it doesn't help the car handle any better just feels better to me i guess. more stable. i felt the same way about hondas throttle by wire it's cool and all but just doesn't feel the same.

haha i think my power steering is shot, cause its heavy compared to other power steerings i've had, and other cars i've driven, even other eg's

- Mon Feb 11, 2008 4:19 am #41757 Going from PS to no PS in the same car with the same motor and such. I noticed a HUGE difference in steering feel. Like someone else already said, it feels more direct. YOu can feel the road and tires better through the steering with with out it. You can feel the tires break loose better.

- Mon Feb 11, 2008 3:22 pm #41813 I am not sure how hard it would be to install Power Steering, I love my Power Steering so much. I wouldn't give it up for anything.

I would highly Recommend adding it to your car.
