i was working on my 4 door integra, putting some ebay coilovers on the stock struts* i know i know u guys are ebay haters lolz but they get the job done hahah..*

well anyways i got 3 done and the last one is a bit more difficult well i have the spring compressed so i dont gotta worry about it shooting out.. but it seems that the nut is on the strut thread so when i turn the nut the whole thread turns too..
i put an allen wrench but no help any ideas?

I have had issues with OEM Struts alan nuts stripping out. You want to be very careful and make sure you have the springs very loose as in you can move them easily on the strut, if not they can cause enough resitance to strip out the alan head. If that happens you will need a new strut as you cant open that one anymore.

I use a end wrench and an alan head attached to a 3/8 ratchet. Picked it up at harbor freight cheap, Works awesome.

If I am totally offbase on your issue post pics and/or redescribe it.

yeah i stripped the alan end of my strut and when i try to loosen the nut i cant because the alan turns with it..
so my only option is getting another strut then?

do u by any chance know if the 4 door and 2 door integras use the same strut?

From a quick google searching i cant find any online part place saying struts only fit the coupe/hatch or sedan. They are selling the same replacement struts for both coupe/hatch and sedan, Therefore it should be the same.

Most Junkyards up here have struts for 25 bucks. I picked up a set of 4 when i lowered my coupe on eBay coils, Wouldn't be a bad idea to grab more another set so you can make the car stock height when you want to sell it, as well as to hang on to your coils to slam your next ride.

Good luck, BTW you should post up pics of the new Sedan.
