I was just wondering if anyone can give me some feedback on D2 coilovers I need them for street use on bumpy roads so I asked the agent here in Malta and he told me that the spring rates are Front 9.8Kg/mm and Rear 6.2Kgmm are they any good? also what is the difference in adjustable top mounts to non adjustable top mounts?

I found them too stiff for the roads about here, even on the softest damping setting. Would be good on a smooth track id imagine

I think mine were a higher spring rate than that but cant really remember, i only bought them to slam my car - wasnt fussed about handling or the ride quality at the time. Soon got tired of them though!

but do you think that they will be good with that spring rate? ans besides the bumpy ride are they worth the money?

Dont know - never tried them with that spring rate so i cant say. They could still be rock solid, more than just the spring rate that affects how harsh the ride is. I wouldnt buy them again, for the price they are new you can get some really good 2nd hand stuff

if you are worried about the spring rates, you can always get them rated for an integra.

Integra = heavier = higher spring rates = even bumpier

Those spring rates are kinda soft. the ride shouldnt be too bad at all. Wont be cadilac smooth, but it should be just fine for daily driving in most cases. Most setups like these give you a 10f/6 or 7r rate.

I have the orange versions of these known as Ksports. I have a 12/9 spring rate setup and its not bad at all.

I got these to upgrade from GRound control and kybs. Had a 450/350 spring rates on those. Which transfer to 8k/6k. Way too soft.
