Steering Wheel not Straight

Hello there guys.

While I drive my steering wheel turns to the right, I always have to keep it straight by if I want to go straight lol. What would be the reason it doesn't stay on course? It also has a lot of play, it doesn't feel solid like other cars I have driven. Like, I can move it from left to right about 2 inches before it actually responds.

Now, this might not be related to it, but I'll trow it out there. Lets say I'm parked and I back up, when I turn my wheels and I back up, I hear this really lough Crack noise. When I put it back on first and go forward, I hear it again.

What do you guys think this is? and what should I do to fix it?

Thanks in advance guys ^^

I would check the ball joints, tie rods, and upper control arms for excessive wear. Sounds like your suspension has all but taken a shit.

When/if you replace some of the parts, have it aligned.

Best bet would be take it to a mechanic and have it diagnosed.

sounds like you might have a worn cv shaft too.

You're right, it could also be a CV shaft, I forgot about that...
