X2..Those are coil over springs. They are way to short to be used alone.

#173156 You're not missing anything. The set-up on my brothers drag car is, Tokico blues, skunk2 drag launch springs, and ground conrtol sleeves. Thats all you need. Then adjust your height with the sleeve. He used to drop the car to the ground, then raise it back up at the track. but finally got sick of that and just left it kinda up.

The Spring rates on those are quite high, meaning yes, they will be super stiff, and thus making a more bouncy ride.

You can get adjustable struts that can help be super stiff race day, but be more forgiving on the daily commute.
