gentlemen...... i am replacing my inner tie rod and my research has led me to believe that i need a special tool to remove it from the rack without taking off the rack. any suggestions or solutions to fix this without taking off the rack. plus what tools will i need? thnx :thumb:

No special tool needed to my knowledge... When I changed mine on my EK I just needed crescent wrenches to loosen it.
I took pics but have not had time to do a write up yet... maybe I'll get on that in the next couple days for ya :thumb:

haynes book only shows outer tie rod. butt.............
