#180052 Yes, I did search the suspension forum for info. I couldnt find exactly what i needed tho. So here...
-95 hatch with some mods, gs-r b18, intake, header, exhaust, function7 lcas, frame brace, strut bar...not that most of that matters, but eventually the car is going to be a good mix of dd/track. right now i cant afford full coilovers so i just want to drop it for better stance/handling. for now i just want lowering springs, but i have a few questions.
-will just springs make a decent difference in handling?
-how horrible is it for the oem struts
-what else will help w/ handling? camber kits...etc...?
-what springs would be good? eibach? skunk2? tanabe? tein?
I'm look for enough drpo to tuck a little wheel. 2"? summer setup is 205/40/15 i believe. thanks.

#180060 springs arent THAAT bad for your oem struts, but they will blow eventually... as for the handling it will improve a lil bit, but mot much.. ive only driven on skunk2 so maybe other spring will improve it more so..

#180412 The struts are more important to handling than the springs. The struts are what hold your tires to the pavement.

#180415 You're not going to tuck that much on springs. I was on a budget as well so, I rocked Sk2 springs on OEM struts and never had any issues. The ride was good and handling/stance did improve! I also had a sk2 camber kit up front.

Here is a picture of how it sat before...

#180496 right on. thanks guys. looks i'm gonna go with a set of either eibachs or skunk2 springs and put em on some tokico blues. probably go down 2-2.5". i just dont want to go smashin all over everything. CO roads suck. bad.

#180596 Thanks. ChicagoMike polished them. I re-polished and sprayed the inner portions metalic grey. Sadly the car was sold 1.5yrs ago.. makes me sad everytime I see the pics.
