Hi, this may sound stupid and noobie but i've bought a set of 1.5" lowering springs and i was wondering if anyone has done a D.I.Y on this? because i can't find a decent one anywhere else and to get them fitted by a garage it will cost £150 +, i do know what equipment i need, its just how to install them i'd like to know. cheers :thumb:

First thing mate, using the correct size allen key (8mm iirc) and a 14mm spanner loosen off the strut top cover bolt (not too much just a few turns)
The front ones are trickier but i did mine with out splitting the balljoints, remove the 2 strut top nuts and the larger nuts beside these to remove the top camber arms and the lower strut bolts which go through the bottom of the shock.
with the rear ones mate you need to be careful as all of my lower control arm/bottom strut bolts snap and needed drilling out. its just basically removing the 2 top strut bolts on the top the lower lca bolt(if it doesnt snap) and the camber control arm which is 2 14mm bolts and just wiggle the strut out. I can imagine it all in my head lol just cant put it into words. try this:-
