#184451 thinkin about lowering my civic, and was wondering how much i can lower it b4 i will be running into alignment issues? plz let me know, thanx

#184453 I wouldnt go any lower than 1 inch without a front-end alignment. it is always smart to get an alignment done no matter how much you are lowering it because lowering it will change the toe in and out regardless. Camber isnt soo much an issue unless you plan on slamming your ride.

#184457 if you change ride height at all, your toe will be affected. This is what chews up tires. So get an alignment, but wait a couple days until the springs & isolators are fully settled in. A little spirited driving on some curvy roads will help them settle. A few miles of driving aren't going to ruin your tires. :thumb:

#184458 ok, i was plannin on lowering it 2inchs so do you my camber will bad or not really? so bad camber doesnt really eat up tires that bad?

#184466 I'm not that low but I just bought new tires for the front and the tire shop told me that I needed a camber kit cus it was eating my tires soooo take that into condersideration no matter how low u r u will need alignment and possibly camber kit...

i was planning on getting an alignment anyways cuz i can get one done for like $20 (buddy works at a shop lol) ik lowering can mess with my camber and toe, ill let you all know how it goes when i finally get a chance to get it done, thanx for all the input :thumb:

Well, to answer your question, stock is as low as you can go with out running into alignment issues. No matter how low you drop it, you will need an alignment. Even stock will run into issues as well.

#184785 i have less than an inch of tire (50 series )showing in the front fender wells, camber sucks. toe is worse.
honestly the above statement is the truth.
