No hard to tell i'm making a big purchase soon is it

Anyone have experience with them, i've heard good, but i'm more so looking to know what people have experienced with them over a long period.. like 2 years+ possibly, I was originally planning to get Tein Basics, but i like to have some adjustability to them other then height. so my ideal would be the Tein Flex probably... but $$$... yeah... lol

So i have heard from a few people that Ksports aren't good for longevity.. is this true? should i just stick with the Tein?

Hmm i didn't see that thread... I know Tein makes high quality products... if i can find a Canadian site that has them i may just bite the bullet and get the Basics and deal with the non adjustability cause i'm not paying $1300 for the Flex... especially since i'm getting new LCA's as well.

Ive got them in my car. Had them for about a year now. Not as long as you wanted but still quite a while with the abuse I give them. I have had no problems with them. I got the the same time a friend on my got them for his DA and he loves them so much het went out and got some for his SR swapped 240.

Here are some pics of mine on the car.

I can go WAY lower all arround, but i cant get my car off the lift. so I raised it back up.

ahh so torn,... i found the Ksports on a Canadian site for $750, and free shipping, and i found the Teins on a site in the US for $690, but then there would be shipping and possible customs...

They are listed at $850 on the site, do you mean that Honda- Tech group buy they had going on?

Ksports suck teh balls......just my .02

I've heard a number of stories that they look "pretty", but when you actually want the performance out of them, its just not there. Remember I work in a shop and I'm constantly getting feedback from customers on different products, so thats how I came to that conclusion.

Me, personally, I'd NEVER rock them.

I havent had any problems with them. I get everything I need out of them too. Im not the only one rollin on them here either.

The 650 shipped price was a HT special, but it wasnt a group buy.

I think i'm just going to go with the Tein Basics, i have never heard a bad word about Tein, and they are still a good price, sure i don't have the dampening adjustment, but knowing me i would just be too lazy to adjust them anyway

I haven't had any personal experience with them, but have you considered Omnipower full coilovers? I know one guy who has them on his EM1, and he said while the ride is a bit bumpy, it's a good performing ride. Just a thought, I don't know if maybe Omnipower is shunned here or something.

Tiens are something I would never spend my money on. Kinda like what mike said but reversed. Ive seen some bad things with tiens. Springs and coilovers. Way too expensive for what you get too. for the same price you can get Ksports, D2s, Omni...and some others.
