I wouldnt buy them. Only type over coilovers like that I would buy are Ground Control. Only brand I used until I went with true coilover set up.

you can roll the fenders to get a lil bit more clearance. stiffer springs and shocks would help alot too. but to stop the roll when you turn Sway bars would be great!

As for the price of the ground controls, its like $300 US. They use Eibach srs springs and you can get stiffer rates from them too. You can use them on your stock shocks, but the stiffer the rates the sooner the shocks will give out.

I basically have the coil-overs that you linked to. They look almost identical, Although I only paid 50USD for them Delivered to my house Via eBay.

I love them. I have no complaints at all. So its your call on what you do. My Ride isn't that "Rough" Or "Stick" Its firmer the OEM But not by much. And I take turns like nothing else. However I have almost brand new OEM Struts,(Having family at junkyard FTW) So I cant Grantee you will have the same results. However My car Handles Suburb with that same setup.

On your engine It needs to be rebuilt, or swaped out. Depending on your DIY knowledge it might be cheaper to buy a whole new(well used, but new to you) D block and swap it in. Be it a D15, or D16. Most of them are rather cheap and most likely the same engine you have in your car.

lol You gotta lose the 17s man. Im usually all about doing what you like, but 17s arent good in any way. They don't look like they fit right on EGs at all. They are heavy which = power loss. And they are going to rub no matter what. Your turning radius is probably half what it was on stock wheels. They just aren't a good way to go. Plus they probably are throwing your vehicle speed sensor waaaay off lol.

I would suggest very very stiff spring rates if you are going to keep the 17s. Roll your fenders. DO NOT BUY EBAY COILOVERS WITH THOSE WHEELS. They will cause you to rub like no other. I had 15s with those on and I rubbed really bad. I have PIC performance full-bodies now and they are the best money I have ever spent.

Youd be better asking on CSC since its a UK forum and theres not many members on here that are in the UK

But 17s are too big for an eg, serious

I Roll on 15's I agree with everyone that you should ditch the 17's. EXPESCALLY(all in caps + Bold meaning VERY Important) if you roll on the cheap eBay Coil-Overs. Its one or the other. :? .

My Springs are Stiff. and It doesn't go down "alot", Infact it takes a good push to make them go down. its alot stiffer then stock. However with Good New OEM Struts it rides good, Even Pleasant.

On My Coil-Overs Identical to the the listed, on my New Struts i can from +1" to -3" I have mine set at -1" as thats how i like it looking. So On these you can dump your car if you wanted. However DONT DO IT ON YOUR 17's (Got that? I hope so. It wasn't very subtle).
