Brake job pending: questions. . .

I've added brake fluid to my car once. Will brake fluid pour out the top of the resevoir under the engine compartment when I push back the piston thing? Sorry for the lack of technical terms, but it's late and my head hurts :thumbdown:

yes it sure will because u are sending the pressure back up the lines. and obvisouly the lines meet at the brake master cylinder. so yes that is very normal. dont worry you didnt do anyhting worng. just take the top off the resevoir when you do this to make the piston move back into position smoother. =]

if it does just put something around the resivor.. brake fuild WILL eat the paint in the bay

you must open the bleeder valve in the line near the brake itself to allow a place for the air to escape. (bleeding the brakes)
