- Fri Nov 26, 2010 2:57 pm #224717 i have a 26 gallon 3.5hp comp. it says it does 4.5 cfm at 90psi and the gun im going to buy is 4 cfm at 40 psi. So will this be ok to paint my hatch??

ps: this is the first time im painting anything with a compressor so sorry if i didnt give enough info

- Sat Nov 27, 2010 6:56 am #224818 You'll be ok using this compressor but you might end up waiting for it to build pressure again. If you take your time while painting which you should do anyway you will be fine. But iff you plan on doing this more than once or plan to run sanders I suggest getting something larger.
