Alright... this picture shows Denji headlights... I dont have those... I bought another pair that looks exactly like that called Shark Eyes .... I have no clue if I just wasted money or not... Can some one give me any info if these lights are some what decent?

Another thing... Is it possible to hook up some Hid kit from ebay to this? Or no? I dont want to retro fit anything ... I dont have the money for that... Thanks

Also, the last thing, The lights I bought are brand new and seem to come with a whole new wire harness. Is this to replace the old one or what? Can't I just plug my headlight harness into these lights or no? whats the difference?

#59864 I have had Denjis and knock offs. The Denjis are definitely better. But some of the knock offs are good.

Are the lenses glass or plastic?

I am of the opinion that if you're not going to do HID right, then don't do it at all. Go buy some silverstars or PIAAs and call it a day.

If the lenses on your lights are plastic they may melt. There is the possibility that you could put in HIDs depending on what bulb is used (Probably H3). But you would probably have to do some splicing to get it to work.

That harness comes with the lights because they draw more than the stock wiring is designed to handle. HIDs draw WAY more especially on startup so if you are planning on going either route the new subharness will be necessary.

It is most likely that if you put an HID kit in those headlights that they will melt and ruin your HID kit. I just did an HID install on my brother's Jetta last weekend which took us 6-8 hours between taking the headlights apart, fitting the new projector, refinishing so it looks nice, and paint. We got all the stuff from The Retrofit Souce and it's all OEM parts. If you want to go down that road then I say go for it and please post pics of your progress. Otherwise save your time and money and just buy some nicer bulbs.

#59872 I had the denjis on my car way back when. They sucked for the lights, but they work great if you do a retro fit with HIDs.

#59880 Hmmmm.... I don't know if they are glass or plastic O.o ... I will find out when I get them. It might take a while.. but I think I want to try to retro fit now  . I will probably just leave my oem lights in and slowly just do the retro fit in my free time as I get money. I forgot who it was on this site.. but some one retrofitted Tsx projectors into their lights... I think I may go that path. Thanks Mage.

I agree. I have them on my DD cause the look nice on the car but they don't work that well at all. The wiring harness that came with them were crap and I had to rebuild that whole thing and solder over all the crappy crimp joints. They work good now but for the price they should have come that way out of the box.

For my project car I'm going with OEM EDM adjustable headlights with a Lexus IS Xenon retrofit.
