the line of leds. seen beamers and audis with them.. people throw them on at dusk they look straight up bad ass.


why would you drill a hole?

US Spec EG headlights do not have city lights (or courtesy lights for you foreigners)

you can do what you posted on any car.. i dont think it would look alright in our cars.

what i did in my hatch was i put an led strip inside the dome light. The dome light was so dim and ineffective I had to do something. Its amazingly bright in my car now.

So how does it light up in the indicators, and also, how do you do the wiring up? what do you wire the chevy harness too?

Sorry for the noob question, but I'm planning on doing this myslf and want to make sure i get it done right :)

on american headlights we dont have courtesy lights.

to transform american headlights to JDM spec lights or even EDM/UKDM lights

to wire it up with the indicators on US Cars we have 3 Wire's RED BROWN and BLACK

wire one to the RED and one to BLack (I THINK ITS ON THE FIRST POST).

instead of haveing your headlights on you can have courtesy and park lights on. this is nice especially during the dusk and dawn. and still be visible
below park lights and courtesy lights.

and to be honest i think this might be better then the real headlights due to the fact its glass which doesnt haze like the plastic 8)

- Tue Oct 05, 2010 7:49 pm #216986 Cool to see that you guys in the US convert your cars to EU spec city lights! Our EDM Civic's have these lights stock from the factory. But we convert our corners and tail lights to have US-spec runninglights (double taillights and orange lights in the cornerlights). Also see a lot of guys in the US with EU plates (these big ugly surfboards) while we use usdm spec small plates (although they are illegal here).

US civic's never had city/courtesy lights. only parking lights which were the corner lights

JDM corner lights dont light up (2wire setup) they only come on when the signals applied.( along with the side marker)

US civic's corner lights stay on and blink
the city light is built in the head light it self.

when you turn on the US headlights on park light setting. only the corners and tail lights light up. as in Japan everything lights up except for the corners.

Please clarify. Im thinking about doing this but Im just concerned about when ALL lights are turned on? Does it turn on together or does it turn off when headlights are on...

mine on the other hand are hooked to my high beams
since i have HID's on my lows, so i can run my hid's and my city lights seprate
