Hey all,
I have a hole on my 92 civic si, by the gas cap. and now water is leaking into the back of my car. Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone have a solution?

Thank you.

cut and replace the 1/4 panel is pretty much the fix for it.

The rust spot isnt on the quarter panel. it is in the compartment where the gas cap is. so you can only see the hole when you pop the latch to the gas cap.

I discovered this when I was replacing my quarter panel. I cut out a patch from sheet metal and fixed it, but I wouldn't have ever noticed the area if I hadn't cut my outer sheet metal off. You can also get to it from the wheel well area.

that is exactly what I am talking about! except mine is a little worst. I think for now I might just bondo it or find a way a better to keep the rain out. I am broke right now, so i need a cheap fix for another few months. Thanks teal!!
