DIY painting

like the title said im getting ready to get my honda rot fixed and i want to repaint that whole car. my dad has all of the necessary equipment to do it im just unsure about a few things.

what kind of paint would you recommend i get that i don't have to spend a fortune on but still get a good look.

This is what I'm planning on buying. Not sure what quality paint it is. It looks ok to me. hope this helps!

Dupli-Color makes a cheap lacquer paint (primer, color clear) that requires no mixing if you want to go that route. It's called Paint Shop and you can get it at autozone, advance etc.
I painted an old truck last summer with it and it came out pretty good.
