- Thu Aug 14, 2008 5:25 pm #65963 Haha! Yeah, we all went through that phase. I remember when I bought my 92 Integra it had a full body kit, 17" rims, blue lights everywhere. But then I restored it to stock and it was nicer than it was before.

And I love your friend's yellow/black combo. The red was ok except for the body kit and headlights.

SERIOUS NOTE!!!!

I have changed a few things about my civic since the pics above...

- my rims are now black
- the decals on the driver side door are gone
- my fog lights are re-mount on the TOP of the bodykit mouth rather than on the bottom (to hide the wires)
- my front rotors are red
- and my rear brake shoes are black to match the rims and paint.

I'll pics up soon.

or big shiney blue window wipers...

or fender's with holes in them ?? (sure that serves a big purpose..lol)

I say don't hate on him, he's an ethusiast and he's here to learn and join in the enthusiasm with us, to each his own .

WAY RICE? i think not...here are some of the main factors that make a car rice...

- Bright paint
- Multi-colored parts (i.e. - body kit is white, car is red)
- bright colored rims
- massive spoiler
- ridiculously low car
- out of control body kit
- dorky vinyls of odd designs on the car
- bright colored shoes and rotors

Here's what my car has (REMEMBER THAT MY CAR LOOKS DIFFERENT THAN IN THE PICS)

- jet black paint (on the whole car)
- My bodykit was painted WITH the car
- black rims to match the paint
- stock Type R spoiler
- I have nice Koni coilovers. not too low. not too cheap.
- I will agree that those pics make my side skirts look huge...but they aren't it's the angle. My body kit is a perfect condition 4 piece Xenon 5600 polyurethane body kit. It matches and flows well with the car.
- I have no vinyls or decals on the body (just a couple on the window)
- My from rotors are red, and my rear shoes are black

I'll have to get some better images of my ride to better show it's quality it really is pretty bad ass looking. Just because it's not "clean" or "JDM" doesn't mean it's rice. My ride is actually very clean and I've put alot of time and money into it.

As for the hole in the side of the car...I wanted fenders and a buddy of mine gave a sick deal on those fenders before I got it painted. then someone stole a few things off the car...

they stole one of my corner leses, one of the caps of on of my rims and that grill from my left fender. That's why I have those clear lenses now. I got a good deal on em and needed a new set. (I got them more 3 dollars on ebay)

I've been looking around everywhere from a new grill for my fender but I have no luck.

If you can't drive fast...look good.

ebay tail lights, body kits, bigger then 16'' rims, lots of stickers, "fenders you get a deal for, but are still fast and furious", etc.. IS RICE

its like oh...i got a sick deal on this orange interior ! lets use it...(not..)


im scared to see your engine bay / interior ....

"to each his own" ... thats funny cause OEM is JDM, fact for fact,

and i don't think the word's rice conform to "function over form"

last time i checked, that body kit aint doing anything except adding weight,

again w/e makes you happy go for it, this is just my 2 cents
along with those ridiculous wipers lol

oh...and im sure this car "has alot of time and money into it" LOL!
(i must have forgot, alot of money magically makes your car clean..haha)

ohh and to the guy that started with the red to yellow.. nice change love the new look!!
