Well of coarse not lol that is un-necessary weight and they can reach a broader market without includeing all the support to have one....dont get me wrong they are nice but heck lol just another thing to go wrong

But yea im looking for pictures on google and no luck though im sure you already did the regular searching.....i know there out there ive seen them.

so do you actually get rid of the existing roof metal to put it on?

it sounds like a bullshit stick-on-top-of crap

it does not replace your roof at all. It just lays ontop and is mounted with epoxy, rivots or 3m tape.

it can completely replace a roof, but it is only recommended for racing and would prolly be a pain in the ass

How would you fit carbon fibre to metal?

Personally I would prefer a metal rood when racing, if you where to roll, atleast metal can bend and isn't brittle like CF. Also I've never seen a replacement roof of CF on a racing car...

but keep in mind that most of the racing spots at least here in cali require a roll cage for full racing. so it wouldn't matter if it was a CF or Metal.

That's what the ebay stuff does so x2.

Get a normal roof and save yourself some money. Carbon fiber is cool don't get me wrong, i love the stuff but a roof is a bit OTT IMO if it's not a track car.

I know two people who have put them on and both ran into rust problems. When you lay it over your existing roof it creates a big air pocket. Inevitably condensation will get in and with freezing temps in the winter and hot temps in the summer you're bound to get cracking and then rust.

I say get a new roof from honda and put that on. Didn't the guys from the Netherlands do that on their track project EK to get rid of the moonroof?

Yes they did, and it turned out great.
