hi, im too lazy too search ill be honest. lol but has anyone every tried to lightly smoke theyre headlight with VHT nightshade??? if so post up some pics.... i have a headlight that i tried it on it looks pretty descent so far... thanks

I wouldn't think it would adhere well to the oem glass headlights

well i have done a spare headlight to see what it would look like, it didnt have problems stickin to the glass , but i wont know for sure still it completely cures out and i dont know how it would stand against the pressure washer in a car wash......

after its cleaned and first light coat

finished with clear coat

with the lights on

what ive used

so what do you guys think??? yay or nay????

did you take apart the headlight housing to do this? or did you do it on the outside?

this is applied on the outside, then did about 5 coats of good clear coat

I've used this stuff for a while now and have never done my headlights but they look good :thumb:

I would have done it too but no chance here in Cali!!! But even if u didn't like it after a while the stuff starts to fade... I did my tailights and corners.....

well if i didnt like it or if i get tire of it acetone or laquer thinner would wipe it almost right off

It's probably illegal to alter your headlights there. Cali has dumb rules :lol:

ok i done forgot about this thread, but here is an update with both headlights been smoked a lil bit (2 coats) with a dupont clearcoat, also my amber smoked corners came in today too so heres what it looks like for now, still got to take off the 1 piece projector w/ hid out of my car to put this in....
