oil relocation kit

- Thu Jun 18, 2009 6:41 pm #124065 im looking for one for my h22 and im looking for a specific one i saw once in a car magazine, all the ones i can find uses a hose to relocate it, im looking for one that is metal

- Thu Jun 18, 2009 6:53 pm #124069 I've never seen one that is all metal. I'm pretty sure they will always use a hose from the stock location to the new location and a hose going back. The metal is the mount and the part that the filter screws on to.

but it was just a polished metal pipe leading around the engine and over the tranny and the oil filter on the end

Also cars in magazines usually have a lot of $$$$ into them, it's possible that the lines were custom made & polished.
I imagine it would be like using a brake line tubing bender but larger.
Then flare the ends of the pipe with -AN fittings and you're done
