#165607 well when i purchased the ccar it was on some cheapo ebay coilovers i mean the stance was nice and all but just too bouncy and uncontrollable....if you wish to lower your car id suggest aftermarket shocks a must and lowering springs coil overs too me are a large hassle too much calculations in getting the ride set perfectly so not one side is higher than the other....

Me im running now on i think nrg or something like that 2 shocks and stock aftermarket springs picked them up from my local autopart international....

my plans thusfar is to get the body work done and in shape for the spring possibly do a partial wire tuck and partial engine bay tuck....i do autocross and to me i want to make things accessible as well as neat and tidy looking.

Brakes have been changed if youve looked at my build thread then you know i have gsr front and ls rear disc im planning on keeping that set-up

suspension wise im going to get some minor lowering springs since i like the stock ride height i just want somethign a bit lower but not too much....

and well of coarse im debating in my head right now either doing a ls or sellign my ls swap and getting a dohc zc

but my main idea is making this car all my own. so far ive done a ek center console planning on a custom guage cluster or something like that to me the interior is where you spend most of your time so thats what im concentrating on most right now. if you have any questions just let me know and ill help best i can ive torn my hatch down and others as well lol so yea

ill keep on looking for you possibly going tomarrow or tuesday to my local junkyard ......

#166178 I didn't see your post there. Yeah I am not a fan of coil overs. Uncontrollable is right. right again with the agressive stance, looks good but functionality is key I think.

I am unsure the route I am taking. I knew it would be a project. My body was in great shape. Never seen snow. No rust. I have ls non vtec.
rear roll cage, I am going to look at the suspension tomorrow to see if it is something that I can do.

Oh yeah I contacted a place in California Hpartsonly.com

They think they have the part for me, Just waiting on the return call.

Can't wait to work on my car tomorrow, only get a few hours a week to do it.

Thanks again I appreciate the knowledge and help.
