- Wed Jan 20, 2010 10:48 pm #169847 yo i just recently fell in MAD love with the eg hatch .... so i am planing drop my gsr from my ef hatch into a eg hatch shell i am getting this weekend .... but i need to know wat stuff change from chasis to chasis
i already got the dc t bracket and the motor mount
do i need new axles ,, Intermediate shaft ,, etc....
the axles and intermediate shaft i got are from an 90-93 integra

wire harness ecu unless you have a ecu adapter to use the obd2 ecu you should have in your ek hatch....

you need to also change the motor mounts. at least iknow on the obd2 cars the trans is definately different i think thats it but not completely sure...

besides that its going to be almost a direct bolt in there maybe some things you wont need or will need elsewise like sensors since obd2 and obd1 and i think depending on what you have coolant lines may be differntly set up not a hundred percent sure but i know that obd2 cars with the ex motor do have those cold start and purge valves etc...

he has an EF hatch

you'll need DC rear "t" bracket which you say you have

motor mounts

shift linkage.

you'll need to convert your harness to obd1 or use OBD1 harness which might be easier

you'll also need ODB1 ECU chipped p28 P30 or P72 will be fine.

axles are fine.

and of course hydro trans unless you want to convert to cable.
