#36499 I've been thinking about raising mine up a lil bit. My valvecover rubs the underside of the hood, and I've already made all the adjustments you can, but it still rubs.

#36546 only pic i got of it right now in daily mode. I actually dont like the look at all. Testing to see if it helps with my catchcan venting. I noticed my oil temperature is lower on the gauge now, but that is probably because the engine is vented more as the sensor is by the oil filter.

Thats not true, i know a few H22 EG's and they all have no prob with there hoods...Just use the right parts :wink:


Personally i dont like hood raise, but if it has a funtion then it has to be :P

Yes, the rubber stripping that seals the hood is no longer doing what its supposed to. I doubt it would hit the engine though, it would probably just run down the firewall.

the water will run to the fender corners just like how it would be if it is flushed. the slit is only minor, like if you opened a window a little on a rainy day. the water is insignificant, as its been raining and my car's engine is still decently dry.

I don't have that problem either. Plus the reason I raised my was for better cooling of the engine bay when you race ( it help the air pass smoothly without having to recirculate) as well as a little added down force.
