#123727 it might come out if you heat it up for about 15 min. with a hair dryer then spray it with keyboard cleaner. just hold the can upside down and itll be really really cold and might pop out the dent. ive seen it happen but doesnt work with all dents

#123734 o thats a bugger. take the interior trim off that portion and push it out. only thing is it will still be fucked. gonna have to repair with some bondo. dont use fiberglass. just try to get it poped out as best by hand. dont try to hammer it out. you will end up with the metal streching and poping far out. if you work the metal to much it will strech. be carful with it. just give some tender love. dont try to fix it in 10 min. just take your time and you will get it out fine. good luck. take pics of how your doing it so we might be able to give other options. :thumb: good luck.

#123767 do u think a dent puller will do the trick then go over it with some bondo. i pulled the panel behind it and u cant get to it. its double layered. do i cant get to the actual metal

#123773 if you know what you are doing and have the right tools its easy... you will have to remove the paint from that area and use a panel beater its basically a hadle with a metal rod coming of it and when you put the rod on the bare metal and push the button it welds itself to the body..then just pull out on the handle and hit around the dent with a body hammer...it will strech a little so you will have to shrink it but you can shrink it with the panel beater and a slap file or a shrinking hammer...then apply a THIN layer of filler and sand with 40 grit to shape the filler then come back with 80 to get out the 40 grit scratches...then seal, primer and paint....

#123803 ok took auto collision for 2 yrs

dont just pull it out and bondo it. the metal is already stretched there nothing you can do bout that at this point.

steps.
1. take the panel off on the inside.

2. get a really flat hammer and dolly hammer the inside out with dolly against piant on outside. dont go to far and dont worry about it being perfect at this point... your gunna dent it again anyways :thumb:

3.take a grinder and take all the paint off down to bare metal (take the paint off atleast 2-4 inches beyond the actual dent) and dont worry bout the big scratches you will need them there for the bondo

4. grab a hammer that has a point on one side( most of the time you can find one that has a point on one end and the flat on the other

ie.Image

5. take the pointie side of the hammer and put small holes into the metal(not actual holes but really small dents) ... this will make it to where the metal shrinks

6. after the spot doesnt OILPAN anymore and you have the paint completely off

7. apply bondo with correct mixing ratio of (pea of hardener for every golf ball) apply bondo throughout whole dent and up to and inch away from where you sanded

let condo dry. and sand and shape with either 180 if you have really high spots and then 360 is more of a finshing touch for bondo

ill post paint steps too if you want to kno

im done posting ugh

#123896 You cant get at the back of the pillar. Options are either replace the quarter, thats the best option as it means you wont have a tonne of filler there... or you can use a pin puller to pull the dent out then fill it, but because of where the dent is it would be tricky to repair as you cant get to the back of it easily. You MIGHT be able to get a body spoon to the back of it, cant remember if theres any openings in the inner quarter, that could be another option but still going to be a hard one to repair, alot easier to replace the panel

#123922 yeah ive never taken apart the inside so i dont know whats behind there.... if there is metal then yeah what graham said either replace it or dent puller and fill with bondo.
