Quick starting issue question

okay my 94 cx stopped starting the other day.
i thought its beacuse of a burnt out fuel pump from running dry
i can still here it prime and im pretty sure its getting a spark.
SOO i decided to bump start it down a hill and it ran fine?
the car turns over great so its not a starter or battery?
what else???
please help, it my daily

yeah like it started drove it home.. then wouldnt start again.
then bump started it one more time. annnnd still the same thing.

thats pretty wierd. have you checked your timing.

the timing was fine. i was driving it problem free. how could i check the timing?? other then a timing gun, i dont have one.

check the conections on the starter
it sounds like to me, that it wont start but when u pop start it, it runs fine
so its has to be your starter

nahhh cause when i didnt bump start it is was runnung great like normal.
all cylinders firing.

I would check the main fuel relay as well, if its bad, you could do the re-solder trick. If that is good i would think your distributor components are starting to go. (ICM, coil pack)

okay. where is the main fuel relay? how will i know if its toast?
i dont think i have coil packs? and i think i have spark when i bump start it. ill check my dizzy.
