i have some bad rust in a bad place, on the roof where the hatch bolts on! its started to rust through. needless to say i am pissed. anyone else have this problem? estimated cost to fix properly? also broke 2 studs off my spoiler, now trying to find a new one.

I can see how salt could sit in there and start the rust, but I have never seen that area rusted completely through

yeah i can imagine it will be expensive. im wondering if its even worth fixing.

your best bet is just to cut another hatch up that someone has given up on cut out that section weld in have fun...but yea hopefully mine dosent do that ....and i might have a oem style rear wing laying around depending on if i can find it and how much it is to ship your welcome to make an offer....p.s. its faded read in color....cant remember if its from an si or dx etc (if it is then it would have a area for the wiper fluid nossle thingamajig....

my dd eg hatch has the same shit its 100 to fix from my boy that did the grinch

went to a junk yard today, several four doors, a coupe and a few ef hatches but no eg hatches.

ive seen it rust on that place on a 98'coupe civic.
