i have a 94 cx hatch when my wheels are turned all the way at a dead stop and i start to move i here this knocking noise does anyone have an idea what it might be thanks

most likely your axles (half shafts) on their way out

Juice is right, One of Your Axles is done! Check for rips in the rubber boots.

wheni bought the car is had a motor and tranny swap if the guy who i bought it from left the original axes could it be wrong ones ?

well ijust looked at the boots on both driver and passenger side and the drivers side is ripped right around it is now in two peaces and the passenger side looks like new

that would the faulty axle.. replace it, and all should be well.. i believe one of them is about 130$ CAD or so. did mine last summer.

ok alsome thanks alot i was wondering if a eg coupe would fit my eg hatch ? are they the same or not

the axles are the same for coupe hatch and sedan as long as it is the same d series engine
