I have a 92 civic hatch cx with jdm D16z6 with a non-vtec harness, and now i need help on tapping my vtec for oil.. Help Me

what do you mean by tapping for oil?? are you talking about the oil pressure switch on the vtec solenoid. if so you dont need to tap it.

yea you dont have to tap it. are you running the jdm ecu?

ok then you sould be all right with the harrness. i think with it chiped you can turn off the vtec pressure switch. so the ecu wont be looking for it.

But then im running a vtec motor but not the harness

right. you will have to wire up the vtec solenoid though, and its just a single wire. you wont have to tape or wire up the pressure switch, and you can turn off the switch with the ecu being chipped.

pretty sure its 2 wires for the vtec solenoid
