Okay I have a b18c5 and I just installed a full size radiator and I can't seem to get the air out of the system. I do not have heat in the car and I run the car for about 15 minutes and it surges and the never kicks on. I tried sqeeziingthe hoses opened the cap. Not sure what else I can do?

The b18c5 does not have a bleeder valve. The top hose gets hot but the bottom never heats up. Any other ideas?

Flush the radiator and change the thermostat. When you say surges are you talking engine rpm?

Yes....
I just changed the fluid and I know the thermostate is good.

Could be a bad intake manifold gasket. That will cause both issues.

A brand new part isn't always "good" have you tryed warming to operating temp with the rad cap off and 100% sure your t-stat opened?
