Does anyone know where I can buy a pair of the hatch support lifts? From what the guy I bought my hatch from told me, the original lifts(I still have them) work, but I guess nuts are stripped, would I have to buy new lifts or just simply can go to the hardware store and buy new nuts for them?

They are actually a stud with a hex to tighten them. If they are truly stripped, you'll just have to buy new shocks unless you want to get really crafty and remove the snap ring and the ball stud and match it to a new one. You can get them new from Honda, but they are spendy. You can also find them online used, just look around.

Try a local junk yard, used is much cheaper and you can test them before you purchase

I got a new set of hatch shocks for 30 bucks off eBay. Had them for a few years now and they work great!

Here it is...

I got these. Used a little washer to make it flush, otherwise it sits sideways. BTW install the little screws that fit into the glass fittings first, then put the strut on the bolt. It's a bit of a hassle otherwise. Good Luck!
