what is the different between EG3,EG4,EG5and EG6?

Well in the UK there different Specs
EG3 - DX, Bali, Glacier, Marlin
EG4 - LSI, Bel Air, VEi
EG5 - ESI
EG6 - VTI

eg3 = 1.3 sohc non vtec
eg4 = 1.5 sohc non vtec and 1.5 sohc vtec-e
eg5 = 1.6 sohc vtec
You must have made a mistake though, all the above are hatches with 2 doors - anything with 4 doors is either an eg8 or an eg9, or someones messed about with it...

This has just helped me out, i was gettin lost with all the different versions. so mynes a 92 1.5 lsi, so myn will be an eg4 rite?

im here in the philippines and my ride is 93 civic hatch with ph12 engine. 1.2L. what eg is this?

your motor is the stock engine for eg's in the Philippines 1.2 liter sohc thats carburetor'd

i dont think the body differs much other then maybe the side molding, sunroof,passenger side mirror and the rear wiper lil things that differ them, but i dont see any diff between a eg6 or a eh3 or a eg3 body wise, i would be a waste of money for honda to make every eg different
