An aftermarket exhaust came on the hatch when I bought it, and I hated it. Now that I have driven it for almost a month now I have to say that I just flat out can't stand it. It's way to loud, and the shitty kind. My z28 is loud, but it's beautiful because it's power. This thing is just a fucking fart can.

So what aftermarket exhausts are out there that sound good, can add a little hp/torque, and not that loud? I can only find ones with huge mufflers.

Magnaflow mufflers..... not to loud.. but not quiet as stock... And they dont look like a fart car if you get a decent sized one... they have a low deep mellow tone.... no raspy ricey shit.... check it out.. I got my magnaflow muffler with a 2.25 inlet and outlet for 67$ brand new!

Magnaflow mufflers are great, but if you just run the muffler alone it's going to be loud. What I did on my car was add two 18 inch Magnaflow resonators on the straight section of my exhaust.

Unless you plan to turbo or supercharge the car, don't go larger than 2.25 piping. It sounds horrible and you lose power.

Lacking a cat converter also makes the exhaust sound horrible.

I got a GReddy EVO2 with cat on stock d15 and stock headers... which douns good only a bit loud after 5krpm

An Apex WS catback exhaust system is really quiet and isn't cheap but it is worth it its not like those fart cans it super quiet.
