- Tue Mar 31, 2009 5:04 am #106815 I haved used it in the passed, One of the most user friendly version of linux out there, Its rumored that the "Google" operating system will be based on it.

There is another version "Kubuntu" based on the KDE interface rather then the Gnome Interface.

Kubuntu looks and works more like windows, Ubutnu looks and works more Macintosh OS9.

Mint Linux is based on Ubuntu's source code. It most of the cool visual effects of KDE but has the stability of Gnome. Because its based on Ubuntu it has all software support you need, however comes with almost everything you need, Video and Audio codecs, and programs. Mint is my Linux distro of choice.
