- Tue Apr 07, 2009 1:27 am #108721 can someone with a eg civic cx take a pic of their intake manifold for me? im figuring some things out. i found a cx at the junkyard and want the intake manifold off of it but i want to make sure its something i can use..

- Tue Apr 07, 2009 2:06 am #108731 I can take pics of the intake manifold on my Sedan DX, with the d15b7, the CX has a D15b8. My friend has a CX Hatch, however it has a LSvtec in it. Doubt that would help you much.

I dont know why you would want to use a CX Intake manifold. The D15b8 is the weakest D series put into our Civics.

- Tue Apr 07, 2009 2:13 am #108738 im going for a higher mpg and i know the cx gets pretty good. the cx and vx have extremely restrictive intake and exhaust so i was going to test their set-up with a dx motor. pretty much what im wondering is if it has the normal intake manifold or if its different somehow to the point where it wouldnt set up on the dx
