Not the worlds most powerful pc, However its my Budget gamer.
This plays Crysis Warhead in 720p with all settings cranked to to "Gamer"(2nd highest) This will play just about any Game that I want to play as pretty as I want to play it.

When it stops doing this I will rebuild my machine with whatever $1000 will build in a gaming PC.

Specs: Acer Aspire 4315.
upgraded hard drive fromm 80, to 120.
OS's ive had: XP home edition, XP Pro edition, Vista basic, Vista premium, Vista Ultimate, Windows 7 Beta, Windows 7 RC (x64), and now im staying with Ubuntu (Jaunty Jackalope) 9.04
Payed $300 for this bitch, and the best $300 ive ever spent.

my MAC, old pic from when I lived in the condo.
G4 Dual 1ghz processor, 2x dvd-r lol hey it was 2002!
Came with 1G of ram, added another 512k since. I have a 500G, 160G, 120G and original 80G drive stuffed in it.
Oh yeah, that other bay on the front is a ZIP drive... remember those!?!
This was right after I got a 23" display. I don't even plug in the 17" any more. It's going to go in the garage eventually...

The box gets boggy every now and then, I restart it once or twice a month. I'm running OS 10.4 on it. I'm done updating/upgrading this system, the new intel G5's are way ahead. Time to ride this one out and start saving up for a new one in a couple more years...

This system was the most powerful mac I could buy in 2002 and it has made me very happy, even 7.5 yrs later. zero maintenance, no viruses, spyware bs.
