well i got thinking of motor swaps since well why else i have a honda and yes you can go turbo but id rather not get into that just yet. since i like simplicity so to speak. thats why i like the non-vtec sohc/and the DOHC ZC tho i dont like the fact that the sohc has not to much power and the DOHC ZC is well simply put more of a hassle than good.
So i got looking on sites like hmotors, and passwordjdm and well thats pretty much it besides ebay since i dont know of many reputable dealers of the honda goods....I was thinking about saving up a fair bit of cash. and grabbing myself a 94+ integra ls 5spd with a crappy body but a nice motor. since a swap + shipping would be quite expensive since most of the people who sell swaps are on the west coast or in my book the wrong coast since im on the east. even then its still expensive even without shipping.
On a LS swap
Passwordjdm-not in stock but given there prices are almost the same as hmotors.....
hmotorsonline-b18b1 full swap is around 2k not includeing shipping
now around here people are selling there integras for about that much in good condition around my area....and im certain if given the right circumstance i may be able to snag one in good condition for around 1000 to 1500 in decent condition a good runner if you will. now im just wondering if thatd be a better route to go i mean if i bought a full car and just did the swap since everything i would need would be there and i could part it out and make some of my money back or drop my d series in it and sell it as a runner......
What do you guys think of that?
