Im going to ask who on here has attended UTI (The universal technical institute)?? weather you attended and completed or didnt complete?? liked or disliked??

yeah i droped fact lol, but the courses are about the same from what it sounds, it was a good learning experience... you will like hot rod 2(thats the superstreet class if i remember right?), it was alot of fun, i beat the piss out of a supra, a pro charged mustang, a srt4, a 03si with a greddy turbo kit, and a 01 ex with a dry shot lol... it was alot of fun playing around, and it was alot of good info i graduated from the exton campus back in sept 07


ya superstreet /street legal.. thats my next class.. we got a few mustangs, a civic, rsx, 350z, gto, dodge ram..

how hp did you make in the 1st hot rod, wit the t buckets?? or is it diff?

then im heading to fact.. im thinkin about doin smog too, but there tryin to bring deisel to our campus nd if they do im doin that too :thumb:

im thinking around like 290 to 300 maybe more? it might have been closer to 350... its been a little while but i dont remember if that was with or with out the charger, im thinking with it, but its been a few years lol :lol:

we had a decent varity, the ls1 camaro always made higher numbers around like 425 whp, and the supra on a good day would do like 400 to 410whp, rumors siad at one point it pulled 450whp (before the intercooler was heat soaked) the s-10 with the vortec chager was a giant fail at like 160ish whp... :thumbdown:

we had afr 411 heads
512 cam
hooker headers
single plane high rise intake
750 demon carb
we had diff rockers too but i can remeber the number

we actually broke a transmission 8)

oh ne one of our hot rod teachers has a fully build gsr
its pushin like 250-300 wheel hp all motor.. i forget the actual numbers

- Thu Apr 29, 2010 5:46 pm #190941 we had like little to no choices for upgrades, we had like a comp 280h cam and like a comp high energy cam, edelbrok preformer heads <-(gaint fail for performance)... and we had like 650 holley carbs, and weiand 177 series chargers, but they only pushed like 4 ro 5 psi, and it took just as much power to turn the blower as what you got out of it, and we had other rockers to choose too... the stuff we used for our base pull was just like off idle no performance junk :thumbdown:

i had been around small chevys my whole life, i had made stuff with more hp at my own garage 8) but its always fun playing with someone elses money so i didnt care if it blew or not :lol:
