are u a computer nut ? if so another quick question, would i be able to put my 2gb of ram onto this shitty comp ?

It all depends on the physical capability of the motherboard itself, in order to determine it though we'd need to know what type of motherboard it is. and as well, what type of RAM it would take, whether it be SD, DDR, or DDR2(wouldn't be DDR3 unless it's brand spanking new)

well ill try give you the spec dude maybe in a pm if ur up for giving me some advice ?

The comp did still work not as good as it should but it had the purple screen but when i tried it with the hard drive out of this computer nothing with output ie mouse didnt work, keyboard, nothing going to the monitor or anything but there was power going to absolutly everything ?

tbh i reckon it is the motherboard and depending how much they are these days then i may get another one.

#138501 Going by the specs you've sent me, you have 1GB of DDR ram, 2 7800GT video cards that are SLI'd together, and a motherboard that is capable of running up to 4GB of DDR2 ram, if you're running Vista i recomend upgrading your ram to the full 4GB of DDR2 (preferably DDR2 400 cause it's faster then DDR2 266 or 333, but hte 400 is more expensive) If you're running XP i'd only go with 3GB cause it will only recognize 3.9GB, and I can never get that 0.9 to appear on my computer.

Here's a link for your motherboard specs

For you're CPU though, since you were unable to determine what it was here's some tips
For XP
To view the CPU speed on the System Properties tab, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties. Click the General tab. CPU information is listed in the first or second line of the Computer area.

For Vista
Select the "Start Menu."
Click to select "Control Panel." This will open a new window with several clickable options.
Choose "System and Maintenance," typically located near the top left-hand corner of the Control Panel.
Click to select "System" from the new list of options.
Look for the CPU's stock speed as indicated under the "Processor" heading. This is a ballpark, relatively close estimate of your computer's CPU speed, as provided by the manufacturer.

That being said, you should have absolutely no troubles running Nero, with the current specs you have. I'm thinking you're being drug down by your RAM, or maybe you're harddrive is getting full and causing it to bog down. Or you have way to many system services running in the background.

#192938 yeah but that will burn it at the same time, xilisoft would convert the usual video file formats to dvd and burn simultaneously but can't find another like it.

#192944 are you looking for Xilisoft??
