#242526 Hey what's up guys had a question because I'm thinking about trading my automatic 92 prelude si for a 5speed 95 civic dx coupe :D how do I go about getting it it register for the dmv do I write it out as gift or put like a low amount I bought it or sold it for such as $100? Are we supposed to handle it as two transactions?

Just want to know if anyone else has had experience in trading vehicles I live in Southern California if that helps..
Any help would be appreciated :D

#242572 well i know cali is a little off. But the usualy thing to do is put the value of the car your trading for on the title. Or you could be cheap (smart) about it and put gift on each title. Go to the bank together and have the same notary do both your titles at the same time.

Here in ohio they arent very picky, and notaries could care less how you do it.

#242816 Alright I checked out the car and  its not what I pictured it would be

95 civic dx coupe

Goods :
Mini me swap z6 head (good and bad)
its stickshift
it has HID's and that's pretty much it

Bad:
Rattle can paint job (half assed) not major
No A/C
No power steering
22x,xxx (not that bad)

Now the weird... when the guy rolled through he never shut his car off
When I stepped inside the heater was on full blast (it was a sunny day)
steering column panel was off and when I asked why it was off he said "my friends were joking around with me and hotwired my car" :o wow what a great answer
Idk it felt kind of fishy for me I don't think its worth it what you guys think?

his heater being on a warm day. could mean the water pump or the thermostat could be bad? or he is just really cold.
