Global warming my ass, we didn't even have a summer over here, just f*cking rain and low temp's, clouds everywere... it was like fall all summer long.
And now we're being rewarded with even more wind, rain, clouds... luckily not to a point were it becomes a problem tho.
It's a natural thing temperatures rise and drop, and droughts fluctuate in severeness and longivity.
Did you know that the African deserts were at least twice as large thousands of years ago as they are now?
Did you know the earth warmed up a couple of degrees Celsius in the hundreds of years, prior to the next ice age?
Did you know that medieval Europe was about 5°C warmer than it is now? (though I don't think that measuring was as exact as it is now, but archeology figured that one out).
'Global warming' is just the next stupid hype, doom-scenario's copied by people who didn't do more research then effectively 'hey mum, what's global warming?'
The earth warms up by 2 or 3°C, big deal... I've read several articles in the past that the earth warms itself up, just like it has always done in the past; it warms up, it cools down.
But doomsday scenario's just sell more newspapers, so that's almost all you hear about.
So yeah, I pulled out my charcoal canister a looooong time ago, about at the same time I learned to think for myself in stead of listening to other peoples 2nd hand opinions.
Ow, and please don't think of this as an attack on you or anything, just my opinion ;)
