#328206 Okay so I have been driving Honda's for about 7 years and I have always wondered WHY (And it's mainly just other Honda's. Sometimes different cars but not often)

But anyways what is the reason for people to be driving by me or anywhere to rev their engine up at me then just nod their head hahaha. I will admit it is much less annoying than someone just honking their horn, but I don't get it. In my opinion it just makes you look like a douche.

Its a flex your muscles/whats up kind of thing. And yes it makes people look like douches. Unless you really have something worth revving dont even bother.

im not going to lie. who ever made that video is a douche bag.

#328301 idk about anywhere else but around here its called "piping off". like "I just piped him off" or "hes piping me off" I really really really dont understand why people do it but it happens around here all the dam time. i pretty much cant go anywhere in my coupe without some toolbox in an import with 17s and a fartcan dropping it into neutral and revving his shitbox at me.

then there are these kind of people. they wave or thumb up and ill wave or thumb up in return. kindof along the lines of a respect thing in a way. or like saying "nice ride" without the words :thumb:

#328324 I'm glad I'm not the only one. It happens so much here that since I drive a Honda if I pull up next to a car and drool over the thing they get mad and thing I'm being a typical Honda guy.

Prime example the other day I was in the mountains at a local "track" and some guy had probably the sexiest sti I have ever seen. So I pulled into the lot next to him (which is the only place to park and I had to check my car to see where a loud ass scrape was coming from)

Anyways when I pulled up next to him I simply just looked at him with my jaw on the floor and went to compliment him on his nice car but before I could he chewed me out and basically went off how he was tired of douche nozzles in Hondas always trying to race him and how he would "slay me and send me back to mommy like a bitch".

Needless to say the majority gives us a bad name. :(

#328677 I'd have to say the most I have ever seen this happen is every time I ride with my buddy with his STi. I dont think I have ever rode with him for any distance short or long and not had at least one car try to race or rev their motors. Thats one thing I love about having my GTI, most people, (around here anyway) have not clue what it is so they just leave me alone. Now when I ride/drive with my g/f in her EJ it happens even in the small town I live in.
