#156207 I have a hatch, I'm in Virginia and if you have been watching the news you may know its raining a lot here.

My problem is that while it is raining outside, my windshield start to fog up as soon as i start the car and the only way to prevent it is to have the AC on.

I don't like to run the AC anyway because its a waste of energy and on top of that, its frickin' cold at night lol

Do anyone else have this problem? Should I try Fog-X, its by the people who make Rain-X?

#156264 try using hot air, it may take longer to defog, but thats what i do and it works. Im in MD and its been raining a whole lot here to. I definitely will vouche for Fog-x being awesome, but you need to reapply it almost every day or two, which gets kinda old, and i was using it when i didnt have my blower motor hooked up.
So, first try hot air, then try Fog-x. It sounds crazy using hot air defrost but it works, and it will get nice and toasty warm 8)

#156268 ^^ yump

when you dont have AC thats the only effective way to defrost. ESPECIALLY if its already chilly out. without AC or heat you gotta run with the windows down.

#156311 none of that shit from the store works.. i tryed and shit still fogged up...

anyways.. do you smoke in your car? have you cleaned it with glass cleaner and still fogged up?

well use a towl... get it dampped.. with hot water.. clean ONE window at a time and dry it afer you wiped it down. it will come clean. really clean.. repeat till all inside windows are done.. to make it cleaner looking (fuck yes you can make it cleaner than clean..) wax your outside windows and let set at least for a few mins (or untill dry) then take off wax.. you will be happy with results if done right

clean the inside windows with a warm damp towl.

wax the outside windows to make it look really clean (it doesnt take fog away but it makes it reallly clear
