KEEP GETTING PULLED OVER!!!!

- Wed Apr 07, 2010 11:48 pm #186210 Im am coming to you fresh from the side of the road. Bitch cop pulled me on my way home from work for having an amplified exhaust system. Now on christmas day, i got pulled for the same thing, got wrote up sayin i have to change my exhaust, headlights(yellow), tint(40%), clear corners with orange bulbs... in 2 weeks or get cited for them all. I went to the small town i grew up in and had a decent cop i know sign saying i changed it all. He told me that my exhaust sounds perfectly fine, my tint which is 5% below the legal limit here is splitting hairs and keep it on, change the headlights, and keep the corners. I have a pacesetter cat back which is not loud at all, its only 2.25 in., with a 3 or 3.5 in. tip. I dont have to "change" or have anyone sign off this time, but he said if I get pulled for it again that I will be ticketed. I also have copy of the signed sheet from the cop than i met with the first time in my car incase this happened. I showed him, he didnt care. I am just wondering how often this shit happens to all you, what you do when it does, so on.

and i have hids amber lights and im way under the legal limit for my car bein lowered but i dont get fuked wit.. its prob the yellow lights that catch the cops attention and u drive a civic..

- Thu Apr 08, 2010 12:26 am #186218 I only got pulled over once for exhaust... it was funny cus I was leaving work and I saw him pull over a riced out geo metro... next thing I know I see the dreaded blue white and red lights... I showed him the bill of purchace and he was pissed :lol: I rarely get pulled over knock on wood :pray:

i was with the local civic crew, most of them modded, 2 had outstanding ref tickets (could be impounded if they get pulled over), but he pulls me over!

- Thu Apr 08, 2010 6:28 pm #186449 i've only been pulled over twice... once for speeding and once at 2am by officer douche of douche township in my old Corsica for doing 5mph under the limit and "swerving"... the cop was riding my ass and I wasn't sure what the speed limit was so I kept a steady 40mph pace and turns out the limit was 45mph but that was enough to pull me over for suspicion of drunk driving. he said "im gunna let you off with a warning" so I asked a warning for what and he told me to have a nice night and drive safe :x :x :x

cops don't seem to mind my civic cause i don't drive like a toolbox and there are plenty of other ding dongs in civics around for them to worry about my pos. but we will see how they like my straight pipe im finishing tonight :D

I always shut off my engine when I get pulled over (I get pulled over a little too often...). The cop asked me why I shut off my engine, and I told him that I have solid engine mounts and that it's pretty loud in the cabin with the engine running. He said, "Ok, pop the hood, let's see what your little four banger looks like." Knowing full well that I have a test pipe, CEL eliminator, and a vented valve cover, I opened the hood.

He surprised me when he instantly identified my RMF Narrow replica header! We started shooting the shit about Hondas, Subies, and aircraft of all things because I was wearing my work shirt.

Needless to say, I got off scott free, but I thought for sure he was going to make me crank it up and check out my exhaust with his sniffer...

Just be cool with the cops. Don't put up a front, and be polite to a fault. Mind your sir's and ma'am's. That's a big one...

- Fri Apr 09, 2010 3:46 am #186540 got pulled over last week for expierd tags cop asked for lic,ins,reg. when license is expiered no insurance and reg was expiered. i was thinkin SHIT there goes my car . so i tell the cop my license and reg is expiered and no ins. so he asks got any warrants or on probation said nope . then he laughs cuz of the part of town i live in. runs my stuff then tells me get your reg takin care of and drive safe. i was fuckin shocked :o . coolest cop i ever met

They were dicks about tint, windshield banners, tinted tail lights, front plate, liscense plate covers, stereos... dumbest stuff.

I remember one day a buddy and I were ripping around a closed shopping center at night to hear the new exhaust I put on my mustang. Like we were dropping each other off and doing a lap, then taking turns so we could hear it outside the car.
Someone called the cops and I thought I was going to get a fat ticket for sure. The cop must have been in a really good mood or liked mustangs because he told me "that's what country roads are for" and didn't even give me a written warning. :lol:

There's cool ones and there's dickheads in every town.

i had one cop he was a str8 dick

he gave me a speeding ticket and a stereo ticket. no warning or nothing.. :x
